An official global travel advisory is in effect. Canadian should avoid non-essential travel outside the country until further notice.
Non-essential travel is travel for tourism, recreation, and entertainment.
Until further notice, the Government of Canada advises you to avoid all cruise ship travel due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
If you absolutely must travel outside of Canada, air carriers can refuse boarding to a passenger that presents COVID-19 symptoms. The denial will remain in effect for a period of 14 days, or until a medical certificate is presented that confirms that the traveller's symptoms are not related to COVID-19. These measures will apply to aircraft with 10 seats or more.
This measure is in place since March 30.
