The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is responsible for providing integrated border services in Canada, including customs, immigration and luggage inspection services.
Before you arrive in Canada, download the ArriveCAN application which will allow you to fill out your declaration form 72 hours prior to your arrival in Canada.
Using the functionality, via the ArriveCAN mobile application, for customs and immigration declaration is optional but simplifies the procedures for entering Canada.
If you choose to complete your declaration form on your smartphone using the ArriveCAN app, a code will be generated upon its completion.
When you arrive at YUL, present yourself at an automated checkpoint with your passport.
Travellers who have not submitted a declaration prior to arrival will be asked to complete a declaration at a primary inspection kiosk upon arrival.
For more information on the use of the Advance CBSA Declaration feature, consult the Government of Canada’s website.
